A changing status (again)

As of today, I'm starting a new research project that relates to the content of this podcast, so in the interests of full disclosure, I'm telling you about it.

I will be Research Investigator on the 'Negotiating Brexit' project, run as part of the 'UK in a Changing Europe' programme of the ESRC, from May 2017 to October 2018.

Those of you who have listened in for a long time will recall I was a Senior Fellow on the same programme during 2016 and nothing really came from that, in terms of my presentation or analysis: i.e. you still get the same me.

What will change will be much more on the positions of the other member states and the EU institutions, since that is what the project deals with: we (it's being led by Hussein Kassim at UEA) have a network of colleagues across Europe, with whom we'll be looking to produce monitoring and analysis of the developing debate. Part of that will be episodes here, hopefully including interviews.
